Chicken Lollypop (dry)





   Serves 4
   Cooking time: Marinating - 4 hrs
   Frying time : 15-20 minutes (per batch)                                            

Ingredients:

  • 12 chicken wings made into lolly pop
  • Oil for deep frying

Marinade:

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp chili powder (or more)
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 egg
  • Pinch of red food color

Coating (mix together)



  • 1/2 cup plain flour
  • 2 tbsp cornflour



Method:

  1. Marinate the chicken wings with all ingredients mentioned above in a glass bowl and set aside in a refrigerator for 2 to 3 hrs.
  2. Heat oil for deep frying. Dip chicken wings in the flour coating and fry on medium heat till golden and crisp. Serve hot with Thai chili sauce.
