Easy Tiramisu

Tiramisu is a dessert made of mascarpone cheese and eggs as main ingredients. To simplify it I have used cream, whipping cream and a bit of condensed milk....tastes equally good. I learned this dessert from Mrs Shoukat. She is a great cook and have learned many dishes from her.

Revised Recipe on 2/03/2016
Serves 5
Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Setting Time: 2 to 3 hours

Ingredients:

2 sachets of Dream whip powder
1 cup cold milk
3 tbsp condensed milk (1 mini tin)
1 tin of nestle cream
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
2 cups apple juice (can also water instead of Apple Juice)
1 tsp coffee powder
1 big packet of vicenzi finger biscuits
cocoa powder for dusting

Method :

  1. In a cup blend apple juice or water and coffee.
  2. Take a deep glass mixing bowl and combine Dream whip powder, cold milk, condensed milk, vanilla and cream with help of a cake beater. Blend till u get a smooth thick consistency (approx. 4 min or less).
  3. Take the serving dish preferably a see through one. Layer the finger biscuits side by side and sprinkle the apple juice mixture till they are semi soaked (4 tbsp of coffee juice on each biscuit). Add a second layer of the prepared cream and sprinkle cocoa powder.
  4. Repeat the procedure till you get three layers. Finally sprinkle cocoa powder generously on the final layer.
  5. Refrigerate for minimum 1 hour. (more the better)
  6. Serve chilled.

    1. Assalam valaikum Zainab. We do not get much of apple flavor. But if u wish you can mix the coffee powder with water instead of apple juice.
