Egg Salad Sandwhich





Serves 3
Preparation time: 20 minutes


Ingredients:

  • Egg Salad
  • 6 slices of sandwich bread
  • Butter for toasting.

For the Egg Salad ( mix together in a bowl)

  • 2 boiled eggs finely chopped
  • 1 cup chopped lettuce
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese
  • 1 tbsp mustard sauce
  • Salt
  • 1/2 tsp crushed black pepper.

Method

  1. Take a slice of bread, spread the egg salad mixture. Place the other slice on top, and spread some butter on the outside part of the sandwich. Toast on a pan or in a sandwich grill till golden and crisp. 
  2. Repeat the step with other slices as well.
  3. For cold sandwich, do not grill or toast.

Note:

You can add vegetables like grated carrot, cabbage etc of your choice. But do not add too many of them at a time.

Egg Salad can be prepared the previous night for the next day breakfast.

  1. tried it , it was good , kids liked the cheesy pull , kids who don't like eating eggs its good for them coz they will never come to know it has eggs in it.
