Grilled Paneer Sandwich






Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of sandwich bread
  • 2 tbsp green mint chutney
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp chat masala powder
  • 1/2 cucumber sliced
  • 1 small firm tomato sliced
  • 1 capsicum sliced
  • 200 gms paneer sliced
  • 1 cheese slice
  • 1 tbsp butter for grilling.

Method:

  1. Preheat the toaster or sandwich grill or a pan over the heat.
  2. Take 2 slices of bread. 
  3. Apply mayonnaise on one slice and chutney on the other slice. Start by placing paneer, sprinkle chat masala powder, capsicum, tomato, cheese slice and finally cucumber slices. 
  4. Place the bread slice with mayonnaise on top and spread some butter over the sandwich on both sides.
  5. Toast the sandwich until it gets a nice golden colour and crispy.
Note: Sandwich should be grilled in such a way that the vegetables should not be cooked. It should be grilled on high, only for few seconds.




Mint Chutney (grind together)

  • 1 tsp grated garlic
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 2 green chillies
  • 1 tsp lemon juice | or tamarind pulp
  • Salt
  • 1 cup mint leaves
  • 1 cup green coriander
  • 1 slice of bread torn into bits

  5. Is sandwich bread any different bread ???
    Or the bread we normally use?

    1. By sandwich bread I mean ....not to use milk bread as it is sweeter.
