Quick Rava Toast | Semolina & Yogurt Toast










Serves 3
Preparation time: 20 minutes
Level : Easy

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup semolina (rava)
  • 3 tbsp yogurt
  • 1 garlic clove finely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp chat masala powder
  • 1 or 2 green chilies chopped
  • 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  • 2 tbsp diced capsicum
  • Half carrot grated
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped tomato
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped onion
  • Salt to taste
  • 6 to 8 slices of bread
  • Butter as needed

Method:

  1. In a large bowl mix together all the first 11 ingredients.
  2. Take a bread slice and spread a spoonful of the yogurt mixture evenly over the whole slice.
  3. Heat 1 tsp of butter in a pan, toast the bread slice with the yogurt mixture side down.
  4. Toast till the bread slice gets crispy and light golden. Flip the slice and cook on the other side as well.
  5. Repeat the step with all other slices. Serve hot.
