Chili Chicken Burger

Chili Chicken Burger






Chili Chicken Burger is a spicy preparation where the chicken mince is combined with spices formed into patty, cooked on each side and served hot with fresh salad and bun.

Serves 4
Total Preparation Time: 30 - 40 minutes
Ingredients:
  • 4 burger buns
  • Slices of 1 tomato
  • lettuce 
  • Jalapeno peppers
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise + 1 tbsp mustard sauce
  • 4 cheese slices
  • Cooking oil  

For burger patty: (mix everything together)
  • 500 grams chicken mince
  • 2 slices of bread
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper powder
  • 2 green chilies finely chopped
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
  • 1/2 cup chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt

Method:
  1. Divide the burger patty mixture into 4 parts. With wet hands, shape them into thin flat cutlets.
  2. Heat oil in a flat pan and cook the patties on both sides till fully done. (5 - 7 minutes on each side) Once cooked, keep cheese slice on each patty so that the cheese almost melts.
  3.  Cut the buns horizontally and toast slightly with butter.
  4. Apply mayonnaise and mustard sauce mixture on one half of the bun.
  5. Keep lettuce, tomato, jalapenos etc (any other salad of your choice)
  6. Place the hot burger patty with melted cheese on the salad and place the other half bun on top.
  7. Serve hot with french fries.
Note: Other ingredients to be added can be - fried egg, steamed and sliced beetroot, cooked mushrooms, mashed avocados etc...
