Chicken Quesadillas


  • 10 tortillas (or thin maida rotis)
  • 500 gms boneless chicken
  • 1 tsp black pepper powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp butter.

For filling:

  • 1 small onion sliced
  • 1 cup capsicum sliced
  • 1 cup sliced and deseeded tomatoes
  • 1 cup grated chedder cheese
  • 1 cup grated mozarella cheese
  • 3 lettuce leaves chopped

For spicy sauce:

  • 1 tbsp chilli sauce
  • 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 1 tsp mustard


  1. Heat a pan and add oil. Add finely chopped chicken pieces and stir fry along with salt, pepper and lemon juice. Set aside.
  2. Combine all the ingredients for spicy sauce in a bowl.
  3. Take a tortilla or Roti and place it over a hot pan. Spread the spicy sauce all over. Now arrange rest of the ingredients for filling along with the cooked chicken pieces. Place another roti over it. And grill on hot pan for 2 minutes on slow flame. Carefully flip over the quesadilla and cook on other side for 1 or 2 minutes.
  4. Now you will see that all the cheese has melted. Remove from the pan and cut the quesadilla into 4 pieces. 
  5. Serve hot.
