Chicken Quesadillas

  • 10 tortillas (or thin maida rotis)
  • 500 grams boneless chicken
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper powder
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoon oil
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • Salt

For filling:

  • 1 small onion sliced
  • 1 cup capsicum sliced
  • 1 cup sliced and deseeded tomatoes
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • 3 lettuce leaves chopped

For spicy sauce:

  • 1 tablespoon chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon mustard sauce

  1. Heat a pan and add oil. Add finely chopped chicken pieces and stir fry along with salt, pepper and lemon juice. Set aside.
  2. Combine all the ingredients for spicy sauce in a bowl.
  3. Take a tortilla or Roti and place it over a hot pan. Spread the spicy sauce all over. Now arrange rest of the ingredients for filling along with the cooked chicken pieces. Place another roti over it. And grill on a hot pan for 2 minutes on slow flame. Carefully flip over the quesadilla and cook on another side for 1 or 2 minutes.
  4. Now you will see that all the cheese has melted. Remove from the pan and cut the quesadilla into 4 pieces.
  5. Serve hot.
