Guava Ginger & Lime Smoothie

Guava Juice

Guava is a tropical fruit found in many tropical and sub-tropical countries. They are rich in dietary fibre, vitamin c and moderate level of folic acid.


In this recipe, Guava is blended to a smooth pulp, strained to get a smooth texture with added sweetness, hint of ginger and a slight tangy flavor of lime makes a refreshing and energizing drink.

Guava Juice

Serving Size: 2
Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Guava Ginger & Lime Smoothie


  • 1 ripe guava (medium size)
  • 1 tablespoon ginger juice
  • Juice of half lime
  • Sugar or honey as needed
  • Pinch of salt


  1. Peel and chop the guava into small pieces.
  2. In a blender, blend together chopped guava, ginger juice, lime juice, sugar or honey and pinch of salt to a smooth puree. Add enough of water to get a consistency of a smoothie. Strain the juice to remove the seeds.
  3. Serve the smoothie either chilled in refrigerator or by adding ice cubes.

Note: You can alter the quantity of ginger juice and lime juice according to your own preference.
