Aloo Bhorta is a Bangladeshi version of mashed potato with garlicky flavor served as a side dish with rice.

Ingredients
3medium size potatoesboiled & grated
4clovesof garlic
5dry red chilies
½cupfinely chopped onion
1small onion slicedfor frying
2tablespoonmustard oil
¾teaspoonsalt
½cupchopped coriander leaves
2tablespoonghee
Instructions
Boil potatoes and grate.
Heat mustard oil in a small pan till it starts to smoke. When the smell of oil reduces, add chopped garlic and dry red chilies. Fry for a few minutes cool and grind to a smooth paste.
In the same pan fry, 1 small onion sliced till soft and light brown.
Take a large bowl and add grated potatoes, garlic and red chili paste, fried onion, 1/2 cup finely chopped raw onion, chopped coriander leaves, and salt.
Mix well till fully combined. Taste and adjust the salt.
