Bhuna Kheema Phalli | Mince & Cluster beans Stir fry

Ingredients

  • 200 grams Mutton mince
  • 1 big size potato peeled and cubed
  • 100 gms cluster beans stringed from both sides
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 1 big tomato chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 2 green chilies slitted
  • ¼ tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp roasted cumin powder
  • 2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tbsp. kasoori methi dried fenugreek leaves
  • ½ tsp garam masala powder
  • 1 lemon
  • 3 tbsp. yogurt
  • 5 to 6 mint leaves
  • ½ cup chopped coriander leaves
  • 5 tbsp. oil

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a kadai and fry onion till light brown. Add ginger and garlic paste and fry till raw smell disappears. This takes about 1 min. Now add mince and combine well with onion and fry on the slightly high heat.
  • Lower the heat and add all the spices like red chili, turmeric, cumin, and coriander powder. Add salt at this stage and fry for few seconds.
  • When oil starts to separate from mince add chopped tomato, cluster beans, potato, kasoori methi, yogurt, and green chilies. Now place the lid and cook on slow heat for about 10 min or till the veggies are cooked.
  • Finally add garam masala powder, mint leaves, lemon juice, and coriander leaves.
  • Stir well and cook for a minute, check the seasoning and adjust.
  • Serve hot with roti or naan.
