Indian Lamb Soup

Indian Lamb Soup is made with lamb bones and minimal spices. As the winter is just around the corner, this soup is just perfect for the cold days ahead.

Ingredients

  • 500 grams lamb meat with bones
  • 2 tablespoon ghee
  • 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste combined
  • 2 onions finely chopped
  • 2 cloves
  • 1 stick cinnamon 1 inch
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • ¾ teaspoon salt or as per taste
  • ¼ cup coriander leaves finely chopped

Instructions

  • Heat ghee in a large pot.
  • Add the bones, ginger garlic paste, onion, cloves, cinnamon, and turmeric powder.
  • Cook until all the water is dried up and the color of mutton pieces has changed.
  • Add 10 cups of water and cook on low heat. Cook till the meat is cooked.
  • Add the coriander leaves and bring to a boil.
  • Remove from heat and serve hot with a dash of black pepper powder.

Notes

You can simply relish this hot soup with a dash of pepper powder or mix it with plain, steamed rice for the perfect meal.
