Quick Rava Toast | Semolina & Yogurt Toast

Quick Rava Toast is an easy style of preparing breakfast in less than 30 minutes where bread slices are layered with a mixture of semolina and yogurt along with other spices and then toasted till golden.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup semolina rava
  • 3 tbsp yogurt
  • 1 garlic clove finely chopped
  • ¼ tsp chat masala powder
  • 2 green chilies chopped
  • 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  • 2 tbsp diced capsicum
  • ¼ cup grated carrot
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped tomato
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped onion
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 8 slices of bread
  • Butter as needed

Instructions

  • In a large bowl mix together all the first 11 ingredients.
  • Take a bread slice and spread a spoonful of the yogurt mixture evenly over the whole slice.
  • Heat 1 tsp of butter in a pan, toast the bread slice with the yogurt mixture side down.
  • Toast until the bread slice gets crispy and light golden. Flip the slice and cook on the other side as well.
  • Repeat the step with all other slices.
  • Serve hot.
