Spicy Raita (Yogurt Dip)

A refreshing summer dip with yogurt mixed with crunchy salad seasoned with Indian spices. This dip is best served with biryani and kababs.

Ingredients

  • 1 cucumber chopped
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 1 small tomato chopped
  • 1 green chili finely chopped
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh coriander leaves
  • 4 tbsp yogurt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp roasted cumin powder
  • ½ tsp chili powder
  • ¾ tsp salt

Instructions

  • Mix everything in a large mixing bowl and then transfer to a serving dish.
  • Cover with a cling wrap and refrigerate for 30 min.
  • Serve chilled with Biryani or Tikkas.
