Chili Chicken Burger

Chili Chicken Burger is a spicy preparation where the chicken mince is combined with spices formed into patty, cooked on each side and served hot with fresh salad and bun.

Ingredients

  • 4 burger buns
  • 1 medium tomato sliced
  • 10 leaves Lettuce
  • 1 cup Jalapeno peppers sliced
  • ½ cup mayonnaise + 1 tbsp mustard sauce
  • 4 cheese slices cheddar
  • 4 tbsp Cooking oil

For burger patty: (mix everything together)

  • 500 grams chicken mince
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper powder
  • 2 green chilies finely chopped
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
  • ½ cup chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt

Instructions

  • Mix all the burger patty ingredients together in a large bowl. Divide the burger patty mixture into 4 parts. With wet hands, shape them into thin flat cutlets.
  • Heat oil in a flat pan and cook the patties on both sides till fully done. (5 – 7 minutes on each side) Once cooked, keep cheese slice on each patty so that the cheese almost melts.
  • Cut the buns horizontally and toast lightly with butter.
  • Apply mayonnaise and mustard sauce mixture on one half of the bun.
  • Keep lettuce, tomato, jalapenos etc (any other salad of your choice)
  • Place the hot burger patty with melted cheese on the salad and place the other half bun on top.
  • Serve hot with french fries.

Notes

Note: Other ingredients to be added can be – fried egg, steamed and sliced beetroot, cooked mushrooms, mashed avocados etc…
