Ingredients
For Meat Filling (cook together)
500gramsboneless Beef/veal/chicken
1tspblack pepper powder
1tbspsoy sauce
1tspsalt
Oil for cooking
For sandwich
1loaf Italian bread or 2 Sub Rolls
1large white onion thinly sliced
1green bell pepper thinly sliced
5sliced mushroomsoptional
2slicesof Provolone cheese / Half cup mixture of grated mozzarella & cheddar cheese / grated Monterey Jack cheese
Few slices of pickled jalapeno pepper / green chilies chopped
Salt to taste
Oil for cooking
Instructions
Heat oil in a pan and stir fry onion, green bell pepper and mushrooms on high heat for 1 minute till they are caramelized yet crispy.
Preheat oven to 200 degrees C.
Take a Sub Roll and slit into the half. Place the meat mixture on one half of the bread and layer it with veggies, jalapenos and finally with grated cheese. And place it in the hot oven till the cheese slightly melts. Remove from oven.
Place the other half of the bread on top and serve hot.
